50th ANNUAL NORTH CANTON HOLIDAY WRESTLING INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Taking place at Hoover H.S. (North Canton., OH)

on Dec. 18-19, 2009

There will be no seeding meeting prior to the tournament.  Wrestlers will be placed on brackets based on the list of names submitted to  be considered for seed.  NOTE:  If a wrestler's name is submitted in a weight class and he does not make weight, he cannot move up to the next weight class and he will not wrestle.  If a seeded wrestler cannot compete (weight, illness, skin) the bracket may be redrawn.  Another wrestler from the same team can be put in his position but will not be considered for seed.

If a non-seeded wrestler cannot compete, a substitution from the same team (same weight) can be made or a bye will be put in that position. 

Please refer to "ENTRY LIST/SEED CONSIDERATIONS"  BELOW to determine which wrestlers should be considered for seeding.  Only the criteria listed below will be considered.  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!  Enter "Criteria #" under "COMMENTS" section in the On-line Entry Form.

Eight (8) wrestlers will be seeded in each weight class.  The computer will place the remaining wrestlers randomly on the bracket.

Names of wrestlers to be considered for seed should be entered on-line by 5pm on MONDAY, DECEMBER 14th.  ALL changes must be made NO LATER THAN 9pm on Tuesday, Dec.15th.  Seeds will be posted on this website sometime after 9pm on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th.    If you have any dispute with seeds, please contact the tournament director at erin.werstler@ncholiday.com prior to weigh-ins on Friday, December 18th.

  Criteria #7.  2009 (current season)  VARSITY RECORD *  (use also for freshmen)

 *ADDITIONAL NOTE -  2009 (current season)  WRESTLING RECORDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR SEEDING IN THE EVENT THAT WE DO NOT HAVE EIGHT (8) WRESTLERS MEETING THE ABOVE SEEDING CRITERIA **
